Dr. Timothy Wasmund
Chiropractic Physician
Dr. Timothy Wasmund grew up locally in the metro Detroit area. He is a graduate of Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Sterling Heights Michigan. After high school, he attended the University of Detroit Mercy, receiving a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. He then went on to pursue a degree in Chiropractic Medicine at National University of Health Sciences (NUHS). While attending NUHS, Dr. Wasmund not only received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, but he also received a second Bachelors of Science degree in Human Biology. Also, he received a certification in hypnotherapy through the National Guild of Hypnotists, and multiple certifications in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He also achieved a certification in Cox Decompression Adjustment and Manipulation Technique, and a certification as a Reiki Master/Teacher.
During his experiences at NUHS, Dr. Wasmund had engaged himself into the most diverse experience possible. He served as a primary care physician at the university’s clinic system and in the Salvation Army Rehabilitation Program in Chicago Illinois. Then he was one of the few chosen to participate in an internal medicine rotation at a Graduate hospital in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. He finished up his last four months of training in a private practice in the suburbs of Chicago. Dr. Wasmund has been serving the Detroit Metro area since 2006.
Dr. Wasmund is dedicated to using his diverse background to deliver the highest level of quality alternative and holistic therapies while communicating and cooperating with traditional medical doctors and other healthcare professionals to maintain the optimum health and well being of the patients he serves.
Dedicated to the metro Detroit area, Dr. Wasmund continues to contribute to the community through outreach programs as well as being a volunteer for the Utica High School Wrestling Team.
